The term maintenance refers to the level of support you require from ASAT Productions to manage your website.

Because we offer an excellent ongoing assistance, hosting* and web development service, virtually all our clients will have some level of hosting. This service does not refer to the expansion of your website or to the creation of additional pages, but simply to keeping your current pages filled with up to the minute accurate information.

Keeping the details on your site up to date is essential for all your site visitors. Even on small sites there will be changes to be made throughout the year, i.e. adding new links and deleting any that are broken, altering pictures, and updating descriptions, product additions and deletions, keeping events calendars up to date. Most requests are dealt with within 24-48 hours.

We charge a minimum Maintenance Fee of £25.00 per year on all sites that we host, this applies to all sites over 4 pages, and also to those sites where clients choose to do daily and weekly updates on stock themselves. This fee entitles you to 60 minutes of changes in the year. Many sites will require a higher level of support than this, and your maintenance fee will be in line with the time required to keep your website content fresh and up to date.

* It is possible for you to have us design your site, and then have it hosted and maintained elsewhere, however there will be a one-off licence fee for the use of our design. See our page on transferring to ASAT

Maintenance Defined

• Edit, revise, update or create new content or images on existing pages at your request.

• Provide consultation service for any PR or publicity projects that impact the website.

• Maintain a current file library of all assets, graphics, source code and revision history for your website.

• Liaise with other service providers, for instance if you wish to have the link checking or translation service that we offer, and of course (as resellers) we liaise with our hosting company.
